Auto glass is covered under the comprehensive portion of your auto policy.  If you have a comprehensive deductible, you will be responsible for paying the amount of your deductible and your insurance company will be billed for the remaining amount of the service. Many insurance companies will waive your deductible if your windshield can be repaired instead of replaced.  In most cases there is no deductible on glass in Massachusetts.
